What is a bioethanol fireplace?A bioethanol fireplace is a fireplace for indoor use that burns bioethanol as fuel. The bioethanol fireplace can be used without a flue and is quick and easy to install.

A standard size wood-burning stove creates approximately 6kW of heat, so you get around 1/3 of the heat from a bio fireplace compared to a wood-burning stove.
Installation of a bioethanol fireplace is relatively simple and can be performed by everyone.
Freestanding bioethanol fires must be placed with sufficient safety distance to flammable materials.
Ceiling and wall mounted fireplaces are mounted using the included bracket and screws.
Built-in fireplaces must be built into a wall as instructed in the installation manual.
A bio fireplace can basically be placed anywhere, as long as the necessary safety distance to flammable materials are maintained.
In addition, be aware that a bioethanol fireplace emits CO2 during combustion. Therefore, one must be careful placing a large bioethanol fireplace in a small room.
You can of course buy bioethanol from us.
But several hardware stores also sell bioethanol - we recommend using bioethanol with an alcohol percentage of 95 - 97,5% alcohol per volume of bioethanol.
As long as you follow the instructions given in the user manual for the bioethanol fireplace, a bio fireplace is no more dangerous than an ordinary wood stove.
But the fire in a bio fireplace is a real fire, and on many models there is direct access to the flames. Children, pets, and flammable materials should therefore always be kept at a safe distance from the fire.
